About mid-week last, I pulled the sheets and the mattress cover off my bed. I slid out the burgundy velvet bedskirt from under the mattress, the one I inherited from my mom that I get out when Thanksgiving rolls around and put away after February. I washed everything. Including my duvet and cover. I hauled the mattress off the box spring and put on my white bedskirt. I ironed my white euro pillow shams with the scallops, I put the mattress and mattress cover back on and pulled out crisp white sheets.
I am getting ready for Spring. Hit me with it. Hit me with the blossoms, and the fresh new green, and a light blue sky.
Spring cleaning, here I come.
