keepin' on

More trim out.  More trim in.  Girls' rooms are done.  Downstairs hallway is done.  One more wee section to do.

This is just the install, people.  We still have the work: putty, sand, prime, sand, caulk, paint.

Yikes.

Today I followed through on the questionable decision to strip the paint on the inside door casing on some closets.  I think ultimately it was better than sanding them all down.  But it took longer than I thought, made the house smell, and perhaps I should have just painted over what I had.

What's done is done, though.

And I am tired.

We came home from Cali and people got some stomach bug.  Nothin' like trying to clean up vomit and fix up your house at the same time.

We did have a great time on our family vacation.  It was lots of fun.

Now we're dealing with the aftermath.  But everyone's asleep now.  I think we'll survive.
